About us: a family business in Rimini
SHUNGITE M.A.Y.A. sells shungite from Karelia, as objects and jewellery, from its base in Rimini.
The four letters of M.A.Y.A. are the initials of our first names: the shop carries the name of all of us.
Our story
Shungite came into our lives several years ago, before the shop even existed.
We gave it to friends as gifts, and their curiosity took us to trade fairs, in front of people interested in holistic disciplines.
From the stand to the online shop
At our stand the stones sit on moss, bark and slices of tree trunk, like in a Karelian forest.
Most of the people who stopped at the stand already knew shungite.
Online it is different: that is why we explain it on a page of its own.
From Karelia to Rimini
Part of our family is Russian: that is how our contacts with Karelia began.
All the shungite in our catalogue comes from there, and the purchase invoices list Russia as the country of production.
The stones reach Rimini already worked: polished, tumbled or engraved. Élite arrives raw.
What we sell, from pyramids to bracelets
Pyramids, spheres and other shapes, jewellery and pieces of raw Élite.
Spheres, cubes, merkabas and almost all the pyramids come in several sizes; some bracelets come in two versions.
Each product has its own page, with its sizes and models: more than a hundred items in all.
