Merkaba

Description

The merkaba is an eight-pointed star, formed by two pyramids with a triangular base, set one inside the other.

The faces are polished and each point ends sharply.

In sacred geometry it is a powerful symbol of balance between body, mind and spirit: one pyramid points to the sky, the other to the earth.

The name recalls the ‘merkavah’, the heavenly chariot of the Jewish tradition.
